Erik J. Grande has more than 20 years of experience in the petroleum industry. He joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2004 as an analyst specializing in data analysis and data wrangling. Prior to his association with D&M, Grande worked as an analyst for Atlantic Research & Consulting, a market research firm.
Grande graduated in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematical sciences from Texas A&M University. He was elected a Vice President of D&M in 2016.

Major Projects
Grande develops software routines and applications used in all stages of the project cycle, from initial data validation to geologic and engineering analysis, economic modeling, and final reporting.
He is responsible for analyzing any new commercial software to determine whether it will enhance the firm’s ability to serve clients.
He is involved in the design and implementation of multi-level quality control processes required to ensure final report integrity.
Grande assists petroleum engineers and economists in using PHDWin or ARIES to generate economic models, and he has created detailed models for the various economic systems in the United States, Russia, and Romania.
