DeGolyer and MacNaughton Signs Cooperative Agreement to help SOCAR Improve Performance and Development of Azerbaijani Oil and Gas Fields

D&M’s John Wallace and Martin Wiewiorowski met this week with Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of SOCAR, to sign an agreement to help SOCAR, the state-owned oil and gas company, improve the efficiency of field development efforts in the country’s oil and gas fields.

According to a statement issued by the Azerbaijani Government, D&M will review the development plans for 20 fields and prepare recommendations for increasing oil production and recovery, reducing oil production costs, and defining short-term strategic goals. D&M will also participate in the implementation of those recommendations.
