Paul R. Singh
Engineer
Paul R. Singh joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2023 as an associate engineer with a background in academia focusing on pressure transient analysis, reservoir engineering, natural gas engineering, and research. Prior to joining D&M, Singh accrued academic experience in lecturing in the Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering postgraduate programs within the Petroleum Studies Unit of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of the West Indies. He also held consultation roles on multiple projects in Trinidad and Tobago initiated under the Carbon Capture and CO2-EOR Steering Committee, Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries.
Singh graduated from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago in 2021 with a master’s degree in petroleum engineering and management, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum geoscience. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has served as a Board Director on the SPE Trinidad and Tobago Section since 2022.

Major Projects
Since joining D&M, Singh has conducted reserves evaluations in conventional reservoirs for clients in Latin America and the Caribbean in accordance with the Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS). He has estimated oil and gas reserves using standard engineering methods such as volumetric calculations, material balance, and production-performance analysis. His software competencies include Rock Flow Dynamics t-Navigator, Petrel, PHDWin, Value Navigator, Computer Modelling Group (CMG), Petroleum Experts (MBAL, Prosper, GAP), and Interactive Petrophysics.
