Dr. Dragana D. Nebrigic joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2007 as a specialist in modern stratigraphic interpretations of depositional successions, siliciclastic and carbonate, focusing on structural and stratigraphic complexities. She is a specialist in 3–D geocellular modeling.

Nebrigic earned her bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the College of Geology and Mining at the University of Belgrade in Yugoslavia in 1994. She was awarded a doctorate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2006. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Geologists (AAPG) and the Geological Society of America, has contributed technical papers to petroleum industry journals, and has made presentations on a variety of subjects at AAPG conferences. She is fluent in Serbian, English, and Russian.

Major Projects

Since joining D&M, Nebrigic has worked on multidisciplinary projects as a principal geocellular modeler for oil and gas fields in the United States, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Russia, Asia, and Western Australia. In the performance of integrated field studies, she has constructed numerous geocellular models and has routinely used advanced methodologies to quantify reservoir heterogeneity to improve reservoir performance predictions. She has performed peer reviews of geocellular models for leading oil and gas companies and conducted technical workshops for applied 3–D geocellular modeling.

Nebrigic has performed stratigraphic and depositional modeling for many large fields in Africa and the Middle East. She has extensive regional geological experience in most of the major petroleum producing basins worldwide. She has been involved in field appraisals of major plays in North Africa and basin analysis and petroleum system modeling in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. She is actively involved in unconventional resources development and is an expert in the interpretation and geological modeling of unconventional formations, resources assessments, and petroleum reservoir characterization. Recently, she has been taking leadership positions in field development studies worldwide.
