Associate Engineer

Jerry C. Ni joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2019 as an Engineering Technician and was promoted to Associate Engineer.

Ni received a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University in 2018. Ni has an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification in the State of Texas and is working toward a professional license.

 Major Projects

Ni recently helped complete a full assessment of oil production and future potential for major global oil basins, a multi-faceted study for a client that involved the entire D&M professional team.

Ni has experience with performance analysis in properties in Egypt, India, and Indonesia. He has also performed an evaluation of reserves on a set of properties in the United Kingdom. The fields evaluated were offshore gas fields with LLP compression. The evaluation efforts included performance analysis.

Ni has provided engineering support for reserves evaluations, acquisitions, and other types of projects. He has worked extensively with engineers to manage databases in PHDWin, prepared reports in LaTeX and Microsoft Word, and prepared tables and graphs in Microsoft Excel.
